Yourself in 2008
THE FIVE-STAR CENTURY CHALLENGE: HI-USA, GATEWAY COUNCIL will sponsor a Century every month beginning in May and ending in September. In addition, the Sandy Creek Challenge (make-up) Century will be held in October. (There are metric options for all centuries as well.) All Centuries will have “Bragging Rights” time sheets that will be posted on the Gateway Council website. A special commemorative patch will be available for each completed 100-mile century.
If you complete all five centuries you will be awarded a 5-Star Century Series commemorate jersey!
Timing your ride is required to receive a patch and/or qualify for the jersey. Plan now to complete the series. Challenge yourself. Is this the year you ride your personal best time or even complete a Five-Hour Century?
COST: Each Century costs $30 for HI-USA members; $35 for non-members, which includes
lunch (lunch available for non-riding family/friends for only $5 each).

FIRST-TIMERS CENTURY CERTIFICATE: Is this the year you’ll ride your first 100-mile Century ever? Each rider completing a century for the first time will receive a Commemorative Certificate honoring that achievement. Further recognition will be given these FIRST-TIMERS in the Gateway and on the HI/USA website at
www.moonlightramble.com.
All century rides include marked roads, maps/cue sheets, SAG support, and rest stops with snacks.
Helmets are mandatory, and all rides go rain or shine.

Get ready for the 4th annual Indian Crossing Century! The first in the 2008 “5-Star Century Series” with an almost completely flat century beginning with a 65-mile metric loop and followed by a 35-mile loop. Cyclists will cross northeast St. Charles County from Portage Des Sioux to St. Peters and beyond on familiar country roads. Lunch served at the church Senior Center. Two support vehicles patrol the route and three rest stops provide ample provisions along the way.
